Why not gather all our energies from promoting vote swapping and channel it into campaigning for real electoral reform instead? What must we, the 60% of Canadians who voted for a party other than the Conservatives, do to bring about this change?
I realise time is of the essence. Ontario provincial elections are coming up in 2012 and god forbid a Conservative government in our most populous province. But it feels like a waste to be spending so many resources on a temporary fix-it rather than a genuine, lasting cure.
